The Best Educational Books for States and National Parks
If you’re like us and have spent the last crazy year exploring our own backyard, including road trips and national parks, then we’ve found the perfect books to take along with you!
The States & National Park book series from Quarto Kids are some of the most beautiful books I’ve ever seen. We’ve been using them in our homeschool and worldschool curricula for several years. The artwork is just beautiful and its a fun and easy way to learn about the beautiful land of the USA!
Here are some of our favorites from the series.
National Parks of the USA
This large hardback book is full of beautiful illustrations of each National Park in the USA and includes interesting facts about each park’s land, animals, and history. It’s a great way for kids to learn a snapshot of each park, and perfect to take along if you’re going on a National Park road trip.
National Parks of the USA Activity Book
We love this activity book so much! It goes along really well with the National Parks of the USA hardcover and is chock full of activities for kids to do on the road, like word searches, matching games, code games, trivia, and other educational activities. It’s a must-pack if you’re going to any national park!
National Parks of the USA Postcards
The illustrations on these postcards are truly unique and beautiful. It’s so fun to mail these postcards from their corresponding parks.
The 50 States
Similar to the National Park book, The 50 States highlights each state with beautiful illustrations, fun facts, and history. Another great road trip book.
50 Adventures in the 50 States
This is a really fun book that’s full of adventures to have in each of the 50 states, like snorkeling in Florida, walking on a glacier in Alaska, and more. It’s given us a lot of ideas in different states we visit and is a great resource.
