Best Hotels in London for Families
These are my favorite hotels in London for families. They've got great amenities, locations, and the rooms sleep more than 2. The Georgian House Hotel is one of my absolute favorite hotels in the world, and for one very specific reason: they have Wizard Chambers! The service is fantastic, the hotel is inside of an old Georgian home, and they have an incredible little restaurant offering "magical" teas, potions classes, and more. The location, near Victoria Station, makes it easily accessible to most of London. The Marriott Hotel County Hall is a winner for many reasons, but mainly because of its stunning location, directly under the London Eye! Recently remodeled and updated, this former County Hall provides 5-star service you'd expect from Marriott. The rooms are large, with great views, and have a chaise longe that can fit smaller guests if needed. Brown's Hotel in the posh Mayfair neighborhood is one of the nicest places we've ever stayed. The decor is decadent, but the hotel takes special care of its smaller guests. Pirate and princess sheets, a play tent, and toys and cookies with your child’s name on them waiting in your room when you arrive. Stuffed monkey turndown service, rubber ducks, kids’ bath products, mini slippers and robes in the bathrooms; and a spa that does treatments for the littlest guests. Age-appropriate books, movies, and games. 24-hour babysitting; baby meals and highchairs; and baby bathtubs are available on request. It's basically a family's dream, but you'll definitely pay top dollar for it! At this Kensington hotel, which sleeps up to 5 (2 queens + a roll-away bed), the kids will be greeted with a play teepee, milk and cookies, and a teddy bear. A complimentary breakfast is available for the whole family, and kids under 5 eat free for dinner. The Kensington also does fun themed afternoon teas! This small boutique hotel located near the London Science Museum has suites with kitchenettes which can be a great feature if you want to save money and your sanity by not eating out for every meal. There's a fun game room with a ping pong table. Be sure to check out the Science themed afternoon tea.

The Best Luxury Hotels in London
These are my favorite hotels for those who can afford some luxury while in London. Located in, you guessed it, Kensington, this chic hotel of 150 rooms is beautifully decorated with a comfortable style. Kensington is a great location that avoids a lot of hustle and bustle but is still near most attractions. Quite possibly London's hippest hotel, the London Edition is like staying at a fancy week-long party. The lobby is also the bar, so you know this is a great place for adult travelers. We love this hotel because of its great location in Soho. It's a newer hotel that just screams modern class! From the outside, it doesn't look like much, but when you walk inside you'll be blown away. They also have a fantastic afternoon tea. If you're looking for a truly luxurious hotel, the Mandarin Oriental is it! From the art deco decor to the luxury spa in the basement, this hotel will be like a vacation within a vacation. Rosewood hotels are always nice, but this one, with it's Edwardian mansion exterior, takes the cake! From the cobblestone courtyard to the exquisitely luxurious interiors, the Rosewood will make you feel like royalty. If none of these hotels suit your tastes, discover more luxury hotels here.
