Are you looking for the Best Date in Provo? I think I’ve found it! On my recent trip to Utah, I wanted to try something different. I randomly came across “Taste” during a Trip Advisor search and thought it would be fun to check it out since food from around the world is a passion of mine. I grabbed my niece for a little date and off we went.
The building, set on Center Street in downtown Provo has been beautifully remodeled and is big enough to hold large groups, but intimate enough to still be an excellent choice for a date.
Taste offers a mini tasting any time for $8 and a full scheduled tasting for $15. We opted for the mini tasting and picked chocolate (of course)! Not only did we get to try premium chocolate from around the world, but we got a complete chocolate education.
Our chocolate connoisseur taught us about chocolate production and showed us how to eat chocolate using all 5 senses. We tried chocolate from France, Madagascar, Cuba and more including dark chocolates, milk chocolates, lavender chocolates and mushroom chocolates! This one was my favorite! It was interesting and delicious!
Taste also makes their own chocolate next door which was amazing!
After we had our fill of chocolates we were treated to several vinegars, which we didn’t think we would like at all, but ended up winning our hearts in the end. I never knew vinegar could be enjoyed unaccompanied by a salad or some bread for dipping.
If you’re ever looking for a fun and different experience and the best date in Provo, Taste is the place!
If you’re not in Utah, you can shop Taste’s fine chocolates, oils and vinegars here.
