We visited the Bernese Alps in Switzerland, just outside of Interlaken. The trip up to Schilthorn required 3 gondola rides and an ascension of just over 2000m (6560 ft) in 30 minutes. Schilthorn was the set location for the 1969 James Bond film “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service.” The scenery was amazing. The clear view of Jungfrau, the 3rd highest peak in the Bernese Alps, was stunning.
